Mitrax idea came up in my mind 4 or 5 years ago when I started my next project bike - Yamaha wr250x converting it from simple supermoto to light mini adventure bike with the best possible aftermarket parts you can buy out there. It's my 2nd wr250x, first one (2010) was mostly stock, current 2011 one has only OEM frame, swingarm and speedo, the rest is heavily tuned up including the engine or suspension.
