BMW F650/F700/F800GS(A) rear shock & frame support bracket
Fits all 2008-2018 F800GS, F650GS twin and the F700 Twin. Also fits 2013-2018 F800GSA Adventure model.
Mitrax solution for common BMW rear shock and the frame problem. Each bracket comes with a 12.9-grade hardened upper bolt, smaller 10mm subframe bolt that holds the subframe assembly and additional small 6mm pin bolt to secure all dimensions & bolt stress.
Made from one solid piece of high grade 7050-T7 aluminum alloy. When fitted everything is “locked together” and that gives the bolt the strength it needs to withstand the pounding from the shock. By evenly distributing shock forces across three points it will eliminate the likelihood of a bent shock bolt, additional " hook" fits around the cross-over tube of the bike’s frame and even more stabilize and reinforces it.
Bracket works with factory BMW, Wilbers, Hagon, Ohlins, Touratech and most other aftermarket rear shocks out there.
Note
– the small frame hole MAY require minor hand-fitting so the 6mm bolt align in its respective hole.
This isn’t a manufacturing defect, instead it’s the result of frame welding variations. A few
minutes work with a rat-tail file or a dremel or even a 8mm drill allows you to adjust the hole so
the smallest bolt fit perfectly.
